So, You Want to Launch a Podcast?

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Podcasts are a great way of connecting authors and readers and of providing information in an accessible, entertaining format. This panel will give you a basic overview of podcasting for the indie publisher. Why might you want to launch a podcast, and how can you make a podcast work for you, your company, and your authors? We’ll discuss and recommend equipment like mics and editing tools. We’ll look at streaming platforms and launch strategies, and how to market to and expand your audience. We’ll ballpark costs of time and labor. We’ll give tips on monetization and finding guests and interview techniques. This will be a free-ranging discussion on one of the hottest areas in publishing today, with a generous period of Q&A.
