Bad book reviews happen. Even the most acclaimed books receive negative reviews; sometimes from the New York Times, sometimes from an anonymous reviewer on Amazon. Evaluating a book can be as deeply personal as writing a book and reader preference and author intent don't always align. When it comes to negative reviews, there are ways to work through them, learn and grow as a publisher, and even use them to your advantage. This breakout session will cover how to handle negative reviews, how negative reviews can actually increase book sales, and ways that you can use negative reviews to your marketing and PR advantage.
