Spend Thursday evening meeting and mingling with the IBPA Publishing University community during our annual LITERATURE & LIBATIONS cocktail reception. This special  networking event is designed to give IBPA Publishing University attendees the chance to gather informally within the conference hotel prior to the official conference kick-off on Friday, April 5th.

• This is a special preconference session. An additional $40 fee is required to attend. 
• Online registration closed at 6:00 PM Central on April 2, 2019. Please visit the conference registration table on the 7th floor of the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile beginning at 10:00 AM Central on Friday, April 5, 2019 to register, add to, or change your schedule.
• The venue would like to share this with respect to conversation levels during the show: "We are conversation friendly as long as folks do not compete with the music on stage. Musicians, as well as other patrons visiting the club, need audience respect while performing." Makes sense to us!

For the late night crew interested in a taste of Chicago, we’re headed "out on the town!"

Join your fellow conference-goers at Andy's Jazz Club (a seven-minute walk from the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile hotel) for their 9:30pm live Jazz show! We'll gather in the hotel lobby at 9pm and walk over at 9:10pm as a group.

The $40 registration covers the entry fee and two drink minimum (Pepsi Product Sodas, Hot & Iced Tea, Regular & Decaf Coffee, House Wine By The Glass, All Beers, or Well Spirit Cocktails). You must register to attend.

Join IBPA as we honor the winners of the 31st annual IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards™!

The IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards™, which include over fifty categories recognizing excellence in book editorial and design, are regarded as one of the highest national honors for indie publishers. Held in conjunction with IBPA Publishing University, the 2019 award ceremony is a gala dinner where all Gold winners receive an engraved trophy marking their achievement. All IBPA Publishing University attendees can register to attend for only $35 per ticket. Tickets are first come, first served. Additional tickets (for guests and others not attending IBPA Publishing University) can be purchased for $50 each.
